Google Classroom Questions
- What are some teacher-tried tips and tricks for using Google Classroom?
- How can my students upload photos to Google Classroom?
- To allow the ability to upload photos, you must create an “Assignment” under Classwork. Students will then have to either a) Respond on a computer where they can upload the photo directly, OR b) First input the photo as a Google doc and upload the doc to you, OR c) Upload the photo as a public link somewhere (like Imgur) and post the link ← Option C is NOT recommended. - Is there a way to send an email to only the kids who haven't turned in an assignment?
- Yes, Once you open the assignment in the classwork section, click on the assigned number.
Then when it opens scroll down the left side and click the envelope to email those students specifically. See screenshots below.
- How can I communicate with PARENTS via Google Classroom?
- Check out this video about Inviting Guardians to Google Classroom. You can reach out to parents and see if anyone is interested in being added as a guardian. Once guardians accept the invitation, they can select options for how often they want summaries of their child’s work to be sent to them. It’s another way to keep everyone connected, especially with so much going on via Google Classroom.
